Hola! I’m Biby, a native Spanish speaker with extensive experience in reading, writing, and speaking Spanish.

I began my studies in the Palo Alto Spanish Immersion program at Escondido and continued through middle and high school, completing honors and AP courses at Palo Alto High School. I went on to earn my degree in Communications, Marketing, and Digital Arts from Stetson University in Florida — a combination I truly enjoyed because it allowed me to blend creativity, storytelling, and cultural connection.

After completing my undergraduate studies, I earned my Master’s in Higher Education and Student Affairs. I loved working with college students, building meaningful connections, and helping them make the most of their college experience.

My approach to tutoring is straightforward: I emphasize learning a wide-range of vocabulary and grammar to be able to make mastering writing and speaking easier for students. These fundamentals help students excel in their classes and feel confident to use Spanish outside the classroom!

When I’m not tutoring, I love to travel and explore new parks with my two dogs in New Haven, CT.
